The official call for applications has opened. Here is a list of documents that are needed for the application:

a) “Form A” if applicant is foreign and Form B if applicant is Italian
b) Curriculum Vitae
c) Photocopy of an identification card (both front and back)
d) One letter of reference
e) For Italians: photocopy of Codice Fiscale

Please consider that students holding a foreign degree must include the following:
1) A copy of the original diploma;
2) A certificate showing all exams and grades.

Non European Union Citizens: Non EU citizens with permanent residence outside of Italy can present their documents directly to the University. Once formally accepted by the University, non EU citizens will then present their degree to the Italian representative in their country of origin or last legal residence for it to be translated, legalized and accompanied by a valid declaration of merit and then sent, together with the visa, to the University.

For further details on the rules for foreign applicants you may see this site (in Italian): http://www.istruzione.it/web/universita/studenti-stranieri.

For students with Italian degrees, a “laurea vecchio ordinamento” or “laurea specialistica” or “laurea magistrale” is required. Candidates in possession of an academic degree completed outside of Italy can submit applications if their foreign certification is equivalent in duration (at least 4 years, BA+ MA1) and content to the Italian academic degree required to be admitted to a “Master di Secondo Livello”.
