TUITION FEES AND BURSARY INFORMATION

2011-2012 Academic Year

A. Tuition Fees
These programmes are unique in offering an integrated European curriculum based on facilities at seven universities. The Core Module is also unique in hosting lectures from across the EU and the US. These features are reflected in the general fee level. However, the programmes have been generously funded by the participating universities, and by the EU and the US government (via the EU-US Joint Programme). Various bursary schemes are also in operation.

  1. The basic tuition fee for both Euromasters and Euromasters with Transatlantic Track is likely to be £8250 for EU students. The fee for non-EU students is likely to be £13,500.
  2. A deposit of £300 will be required of all students offered a place on these courses. The date by which this is payable will be indicated in the offer letter.
  3. The remainder of the fee will be payable on the date of registration in late September 2009.
  4. Facilities exist for the payment of tuition fees by instalments. Further information on these facilities will be provided directly by the University of Bath Registry along with the formal offer of a place on the course.
  5. The basic tuition fee does not cover cost of living expenses or travel. Although individual items of expenditure may vary slightly from country to country, the overall cost of living is similar at all sites. Please see the separate "Funding and living expenses" information sheet for general guidance.

B. Bursaries

  1. A number of bursaries are available to cover a portion of the tuition fees. These are awarded on the basis of academic merit regularly throughout the year. Early application for these is therefore advised.
